Overview


Chuan Tang is a Ph.D. candidate in Environmental Science & Engineering at Clarkson University. Chuan has a highly interdisciplinary research experience and background. He earned his B.S. in Environmental Science in 2012 and worked for the Institute of Geochemistry, an affiliation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as environmental scientist before he came Clarkson. His previous research involves the application of nano porous materials in environmental remediation, human health risk analysis and the application of Electrodialysis (ED) and Electrodialysis Reversal (EDR) technologies in water treatment. His current research focuses on evaluating the mercury pollution and acidification in the New York State using environmental economics approaches. He is also working on problems about the methodology of standardizing contaminants in fauna.
